Youth Dodgeball refers to Dodgeball for anyone 18 or under. We have divided our Youth players into four categories: Tyke, Junior, Intermediate & Teen. We have specific pages explaining our Tyke & Teen programs, though all four categories can be found on this page.

Tyke, Junior and Intermediate Dodgeball Sessions are designed to both introduce children (ages 5-13) to the sport of Dodgeball as well as improve their skills, while having fun. The general formula for our sessions is as follows:
A quick & fun Warmup
Instruction on throwing techniques and accuracy training
Drills to improve other skills and strategy (not often for Tyke)
Variations of Dodgeball games
This will look different at each level and become more skills and strategy focused as children progress through the levels.

* Any child who is new to dodgeball may try out a session for free. If they decide to continue with the sessions, they will need to pay for the first session.
** Any player who is registered to Throwbots will receive a $5 discount for each registration each term. Discounts may vary - please check the Throwbots Website for more details.
Any player who wishes to play in both Teen and Intermediate sessions may do so at a 50% discount for the second session (Throwbots discount applied beforehand)

Location: Action Indoor Sports, 911 Dominion Road Mt Roskill Auckland
Time: 9:00am - 4:00pm
Dates: Tuesday 23rd & Wednesday 24th September, 2025 (please sign up by 11:59pm Monday 22nd September)
Ages: Year 3 to Year 9 (Years 1 and 2 if they already play with us OR by negotiation) | If numbers allow, we will split into two groups.

Costs:
One Day: $55 per player ($80 for two siblings, $100 for 3 siblings)
Two Days: $100 per player ($150 for two siblings, $180 for 3 siblings)
Throwbots players $5 discount per day**
Details: We will work on building up our various dodgeball skills, and play a variety of games, and if there are sufficient players, we will end the day with a tournament. Children will need to bring their own lunch, water and snacks.
