2026 SUMMER RUSH REGISTRATION IS OPEN! | Tournament is 14 February 2026!
The Summer Rush (14th Feb 2026) is Auckland's biggest 2v2 Dodgeball tournament held annually at Te Atatū Peninsula Community Hub, Auckland. We have divisions for all ages, from Year 3s to adults. Last year we had 43 teams across multiple divisions.
This tournament is suitable for anyone who loves to play dodgeball or anyone wanting to try a new sport! If you don't have a team, register as an individual and we will find you a team.
We welcome players who have played at our Youth dodgeball sessions, school, uni students, corporate teams, parents who don't want to watch from the sidelines, and more!

We will be playing 2v2 games with 7 inch foam balls, following WDBF rules.
The 2vs2 format has the following exceptions:
Each team starts with one ball each, while a third is on the centre line.
The third ball does not need to be activated to be thrown
Games last up to 5 minutes (10 minutes for 1st Place Games), with a 1 minute no blocking round if the game has not already been decided. If the round is not decided in that time, the game will end with the current score. In elimination games, no blocking will continue until the point is decided.
Draws are allowed, except in elimination games.
Any elimination game that is tied after a no blocking round, will have 1 minute of extra time, followed by another no blocking round until a winner is determined.
The first team to score 3 points in a game (5 points for finals) will win automatically.
Men & Mixed will play on courts 3x18m; Women will play on courts 3x16m; Intermediate & Junior will play on courts 3x14m *might be slightly less at 13.4m
Teams may have as many players as they like, but only two may be on the court to start each point. It is suggested that you have a maximum of 3 players on a team, otherwise you may not get much playing time.
For mixed teams you should have one male-identifying player and one female-identifying player OR one or two Non-Binary players starting each point of the game.
