We are looking to start a Women's Only League and Girl's Only Junior Dodgeball session in Te Atatū South in the coming months.

We are looking for a woman or teenage girl (16+) who has the following skills:

• Experience working with children in any capacity

• A sport background (playing - but it doesn't have to be dodgeball)

• Responsible with good communication

You will also need to provide an up to date police check, OR a current registration from The Teacher's Council.

We will provide necessary training and support to run these programs, including a progression of warmups, drills and games to work with in Junior Dodgeball as well some advice about how to run the women's sessions (over time, you'll be able to adapt these to suit the needs of the participants).

We will also provide all equipment (which you will need to transport and hold between sessions). You will be able to participate in any of Dodgeball For All's leagues and sessions for free (for tournaments, the costs will be the same) and we will look to provide a stipend for travel costs.

We are looking to start Junior Dodgeball Sessions in South Auckland and the North Shore soon! Our first step is to find a facilitator who can run these and then we will look to booking a venue (the facilitator will have some say in this). We are looking for and adult or teenager (16+) who has the following skills:

We are looking to start up regular competitions for Juniors in Auckland and need some people to help us organise these new clubs. Duties would include:

• Contacting parents to ensure their children are registered to play, as well as keeping them informed of the details of tournaments.

• Registering the team(s) for your club/site for tournaments

• Helping source a graphic designer(s) to design our shirts (we have a supplier) - or designing it yourself.

• Managing teams on the day (making sure they get to their games, supporting where necessary).

• Liaise with facilitators (the coaches running the weekly sessions)

There is no need for Dodgeball specific experience or skills, just a desire to help out and grow the sport. The facilitators will still act as coaches for the teams where possible.

Part of our strategy in growing Dodgeball in Auckland (and in New Zealand) is to have a large, visible presence online. We would welcome any volunteers to help us do the following:

• Taking video and pictures at our events and sharing this with content creators.

• Creating content using videos and pictures to post on: Instagram, Facebook & TikTok

• Helping manage the YouTube Channel, including uploading games as well as creating other dodgeball related videos.

• Creating and maintaining a list of events and occasions to be posted about (eg. International Women's Day, Pride, Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, etc)

We are looking to get an official group of referees for various events. An ideal candidate would fit the following description:

• Experience playing Dodgeball or a willingness to play with us to learn the rules.

• Someone who is calm under pressure and responsible.

Your duties will include:

• Refereeing games

• Recording and submitting scores to the league organiser

• Reporting to the league organiser if anything in the game breaks the code of conduct.

• Helping set up and take down any equipment necessary for the games/tournament (nets, clock, cones, etc)

• Potentially, the initial group of referees will work with Dodgeball For All (and possibly Dodgeball New Zealand and Dodgeball Auckland)

We will provide training and support and all necessary equipment - and we will endeavour to provide referees with shirts, eventually. A travel stipend will be available to start.

Please note: we are looking for people who won't be playing on a given night or in a tournament for the most part.
